Lift Troubles Arise At Saddleback:

The Saddleback Lift Maintenance team can’t catch a break. The South Branch Quad, the chairlift that services the lower mountain and condos, has been closed for over a week with electrical problems being the cause. The Kennebago Quad, the chairlift that accesses the Kennebago Steeps has been closed since Saturday with motor and electrical problems being the setback there. Fingers crossed the team can track down these issues and get these chairs spinning soon. We’re rooting for you guys!

BIG News From Sunday River:

Just announced – Two new lifts will be taking skiers and riders up the mountains of Sunday River. A new Merrill Hill Triple will access the back side of the mountain and add to the Real Estate options and ski-in, and ski-out house lots. Both lift upgrades are expected to open for the 2023-2024 ski season. For the latest on the Sunday River 2030 project, click the link below.

Hip, hip, hooray, we had a few pow days! Thanks to Mother Nature giving us back-to-back snow storms. The heavy, wet snow, is awesome for base building so we should be skiing well into April! If you’re ripping it up on the slopes this winter, make sure to tag us on Twitter (@mainelyskiing) and we’ll repost!

Weather:

We have the chance to see some significant snow totals next Wednesday, February 1. Make sure to do those snow dances, wear your clothes inside out, or whatever you do to get good luck. #WinterIsntOver
