March, 2019

Mainely Skiing was created in March 2019 to make the Maine skiing experience even easier.

October, 2019

After a few months of doing Instagram and Facebook, we decided to take Mainely Skiing to the next level. In October 2019, our website was launched.

March, 2021

After two years of the creation of Mainely Skiing, we released our very first Mainely Skiing Weekly Email. Complete with a FAQ for the RFID gates, a sale announcement for the merch store, and a COVID travel update.

April, 2021

The Mountain Lift Status page was released with Saddleback, Sugarloaf, and Sunday River. Being the one-stop shop for the status of all lifts, the page became very popular.

November, 2021

With a full guide for Saddleback, Sugarloaf, and Sunday River, the Mountain Guide Page was released to aid in skiing that mountain. Providing all the information to have a great day on the snow.

March, 2022

In March 2022, we released the Skier Services page, with various pages ranging from help with questions to trip planning. This was created to continue the goal of making the Maine skiing experience easier.

May, 2022

Complete with all the activities available around the mountains of Maine during the “off-season.” The page was created to provide year-round content and inspire people to vacation in the mountains in the summer.

January, 2023

In January, Pleasant Mountain was added to the Mountain Guide page to provide information on one of Maine’s busiest ski areas.

In January, Pleasant Mountain was added to the Mountain Lift Status page to provide current information of lifts from one of Maine’s busiest ski areas.

October, 2023

In October, Black Mountain was added to the Mountain Guide page to provide information on one of the underrated mountains.

A complete gear guide for beginners, intermediates, and experts. With a page for each, you can find gear in three price tiers: low, medium, high, plus Keegan’s favorite.

November, 2023

With the significant details for all Maine ski areas, this page was added to be a spot to check the status of your local resort, along with state-wide ski mountains.

January, 2024

In January, Lost Valley was added to the Mountain Guide page to provide information on one of the small, but mighty mountains in Maine.

March, 2024

In March, Mainely Skiing celebrated 5 years as a company. We also released a new logo that better fits with our brand.

Also, in March, Mainely Skiing released the Featured Events Page. This page is complete with the important events we don’t want you to miss!

April, 2024

In April, Camden Snow Bowl was added to the Mountain Guide page to provide information on one of the most picturesque ski mountains in Maine.

August, 2024

In August, we revamped our merchandise page, allowing us to offer more products and giving our customers the choice of what products they want, without restraint.

August, 2024

Also in August, we added a page all about staying safe while skiing. Complete with a full list of ski patrol phone numbers, the NSAA Skier Code of Conduct, and other information.

November, 2024

In November, we released the official Mainely Skiing Blog. With updates around Maine Recreation, Trip Reports, and other things we think you’ll find interesting.

January, 2025

In January, we released a page filled with various sizing charts. With charts for skis, helmets, boots, and poles.

January, 2025

In January, added prints and framed prints to our merchandise page.

December, 2025

In December, we updated the Season Pass page to provide our visitors with the most information, allowing them to purchase the right pass for them.

February, 2026

In February, BigRock was added to the Mountain Guide page to provide information on the most northern lift-served mountain in Maine.
