Groundhog Day:
Happy Groundhog Day, Mainely Skiers! Punxsutawney Phil didn’t see his shadow which means we’ll have an early spring. That’s good news to us as who doesn’t love t-shirt skiing and sunny chairlift rides? While we will need to get to spring first, we’re looking ahead to the annual end-of-season parties.

Fire On The Mountain:
Sugarloaf’s Fire On The Mountain, this annual music-loving event is happening today through Sunday. With a packed lineup of bands and festivities, make sure to head over to Sugarloaf with your dancing shoes and get ready for a great weekend. Learn more about this event by clicking the link below!

February Break Fun:
Remember, as February Break approaches, make sure we are stocking up on gear for dress-up days at Saddleback; we want to look our very best going down our favorite trails! Sugarloaf is also hosting their February Fireworks at the end of the break on the 23rd! As we get closer to February Break, we’ll start sharing a total list of events so you can start to plan on the best mountain for you!

3rd Annual Hill Climb:
The 3rd. Annual Hill Climb at Saddleback has recently opened for registration, so be as quick as a ski bunny and register! The Hill Climb is on Friday & Saturday, April 19-20, 2024. This event grows every year and brings in smiling faces from all over New England. It is definitely something you do not want to miss! Learn more below!

WinterKids Downhill 24:
Help raise money for families in need by participating in Sugarloaf and WinetKids Downhill 24. Happening from February 29, to March 1. To register and learn more about this special opportunity to ski around the clock, click the link below!

Bucksaw Express:
Sugarloaf’s newest lift and biggest expansion since the SuperQuad, Bucksaw Express is set to spin for the first time on Friday, February 9. With a few activities surrounding West Mountain, you won’t want to miss this special moment. Learn more below.

Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides:
If you’re still in the Christmas spirit or you’re looking for a fun, family-friendly adventure, there are a number of various dates for horse-drawn carriage rides in downtown Rangeley. Sugarloaf Marathon Registration Open:
The Sugarloaf Marathon and 15K registration is now open. Thankfully, you have time to prepare for the race, as the deadline to sign up is April 15. For more information on the races, click the link below.

Last Chair:
What a good week for skiing in Maine and this weekend will be more of the same. Saddleback has been teasing something special over on Monteral. If you don’t know what it is, I suggest checking out their social accounts.
Weather:
This weekend is looking pretty safe without any ra*n, but I don’t want to jinx it. If safe is how we start describing the weather, then I think that means we’re out of the wacky weather.
