Gear Theft Around The State:
There have been multiple incidents of theft happening around the state at various mountains. While this could be a total accident, please make sure you are putting your skis/snowboards on the racks (and remember where you put it), snapping into your skis when you head out onto the hill, and leaving for the day with your equipment. If you happen to take someone’s gear by accident, make sure to reach out to the resort that the accident happened at. It can also help put out a Facebook post on that mountain’s group. Girls Ride Day At Sugarloaf:
Come out to Sugarloaf on Saturday, March 1, for the third annual Girls Ride Day hosted by the Girls Trip Adventure Co., A day of fun for girls who snowboard. Learn more about Girls Trip Adventure Co. below.

Lollipop Race:
Calling all kids 12 and under, Every Sunday at Saddleback, the Saddleback Ski School will be hosting the event. From 1-2, the gates will be open for racing followed by awards on the deck. contact the Ski School desk to sign up. The race takes place on skiers right of Royal Tiger, just below the Rangeley Chair. Last Chair:
What a week if you like to ski powder! With what felt like daily storms this past week bringing the 7-day total to upwards of 15 inches of snow, depending on where you go. The best news: it’s not stopping! We’re tracking some serious snow coming up. Keep doing those snow dances, Mainely Skiers.
Weather:
Well… Today is windy. There’s no sugarcoating it. However, the wind will be blowing in some serious pow coming on Sunday! It might be worth taking some time off on Monday, cough cough! Due to the nature of this storm and the wind that’s on both sides of it, keep an eye on the Mountain Lift Status page to stay in the loop with the current lift status.
