Vertical Challenge @ Black Mountain of Maine:
Happening at Black Mountain of Maine on Saturday, January 20, the Vertical Challenge is a series of free casual ski & snowboard races held at ski resorts throughout the northeast. In addition to the races, attendees enjoy a festival, featuring snowy activities for all ages throughout a fun day on the mountain. Learn more below.

WinterKids Downhill 24:
Help raise money for families in need by participating in Sugarloaf and WinetKids Downhill 24. Happening from February 29, to March 1. To register and learn more about this special opportunity to ski around the clock, click the link below!

Rangeley’s Snodeo Weekend:
While this is an event for the other popular winter activity in Rangeley, we’re talking about it due to the scale of the event. Rangeley’s Snodeo Weekend kicks off on Thursday, January 25, and runs through Sunday, January 28. With lots of festivities happening near or around the trails, including fireworks and a snowmobile parade, you won’t want to miss it! Learn more by clicking the link below!

WinterKids Family Day @ Mt. Abram:
Join the WinterKids families at Mt. Abram for a day of fun! Happening on Saturday, January 20, you won’t want to miss it! With discounted tickets through the WinterKids app, ski the fresh snow for less! Please note: WinterKids App Family Membership is required to take advantage of special offers on this Family Day.

Sugarloaf Charity Summit:
The Sugarloaf Charity Summit, Sugarloaf’s premier fundraising event, provides an opportunity for Sugarloafers, old and new, to join forces in the fight against cancer. Their efforts to raise a mountain of money have been going strong for 24 years and you can join them on January 27, 2024. Learn more below!

Last Chair:
What a great week to be a skier in Maine. On Tuesday, Mother Nature gifted us with over 10” of fresh, light snow. Resorts doubled or even tripled their trail counts, due to the scale. With this weekend remaining cold, that snow isn’t going anywhere. Tips up!
Weather:
With the cold front that has moved into Maine sticking around for another couple of days, the snow we got on Tuesday is still doing great and the conditons are amazing. Plus, we’re currently eyeing a couple storms coming next week with some snow. Keep doing those snow dances! For current lift status, click the link below.
