Happy New Year:

Happy New Year Mainely Skiers! Welcome to 2023! We hope this year is better than last year in every way. Right now, it’s not looking good with Mother Nature dropping the ball – pun intended, and with the forecast, it’s not looking any better. Fingers crossed, do those snow dances, and anything else you do to get more snow! 2023 will be our year.

Lollipop Race:

Calling all kids 12 and under, Every Sunday at Saddleback, the Rangeley Alpine Ski Club will be co-hosting this event with the Saddleback Ski School. From 1-2, the gates will be open for racing followed by awards on the deck. contact the Ski School desk to sign up. The race takes place on skiers right of Royal Tiger, just below the Rangeley Chair. Saddleback Webcams:

Have you visited the Saddleback Webcams? With three cameras scattered across the mountain, you’re guaranteed to get the best sunset. You could go back in time if you missed the best part. While you can catch some pretty amazing sunsets, you also are able to watch crews working. This past week, they strung the haul rope and the aXess gates are installed. Click the link below to watch them build the new Sandy Quad.

Last Chair:

With the past weekends we had, you might be feeling winter is over. Thankfully, winter is only getting started, and it’s only January 6. Think snow! If you’re ripping it up on the slopes this winter, make sure to tag us on Twitter (@mainelyskiing) and we’ll repost!
