Pleasant Mountain Opening Tomorrow:
Pleasant Mountain is opening tomorrow, Saturday, December 7 with two lifts bringing skiers and riders to 3 trails. The Pine Quad and the Rabbit Run Triple will start the season at 9:30am, with skiing on the Pine Slope, Happiness Is, and Rabbit Run. Catch the full report below.
Demo Day At Sugarloaf:
Sugarloaf will be offering a Demo Day tomorrow, Satuday, Decmeber 7. For a small fee, you can test out various skis from Völkl, Atomic, Stöckli, Nordica, VAN DEER, Blizzard, Winterstick, and more. Get in on the action by clicking the link below.
Santa Sunday:
Join Sunday River and over 200 other Santas as they cruise down South Ridge to support a great cause. All the proceeds from Santa Sunday go to the River Fund, a non-profit organization that supports youth education and recreation in the Bethel area. Learn more and sign up by clicking the link below.
Hill Climb At Black Mountain:
Ever wanted to race your snowmobile up Black Mountain? Now you can! On Saturday, December 14, Black Mountain of Maine is hosting their first Hill Climb of the season. Learn more about this energetic event by clicking the link below.

Opening Days:
With the days getting shorter and the new month in the calendar, everyone is thinking about getting back on snow. For some, that was yesterday, for most, it will be either later in this month or in December. Keep an eye on these opening dates:

Statewide Lift Construction:
Across the state, there are three mountains that are installing chairlifts. Pleasant Mountain is installing a refurbished Doppelmayr High-Speed Quad, BigRock Mountain is installing a new Doppelmayr Quad, and Lost Valley is installing a used Hall Double Chair.
Please Note: Due to lift construction, hiking at Pleasant Mountain is currently prohibited.
Pleasant Mountain:
As of Mon, November 18
On Monday, Pleasant Mountain shared a photo to Facebook showing the progress on their new race building, but also showed the work being done on the lower terminal. This is really starting to look like a lift!
BigRock Mountain:
As of Mon, October 21
On Monday, BigRock posted some photos of their new chair getting a load test with boxes filled with water to simulate people. You can also see some technicians from Doppelmayr working on the programming side of the new Doppelmayr Connect system.
Lost Valley:
As of Fri, November 22
On Friday, Lost Valley posted a photo showing the final concrete poor of the season, the bottom terminal.

Last Chair:
What a great week to be a Maine skier! The cold temps stayed, allowing for maximum efficiency for snow guns, providing great late-week expansions. The natural snow also helped, with storms dropping upwards of a foot of new snow. Keep an eye on our Resort Status page to be the first to know about opening and snowmaking information.
Weather:
The snow party isn’t over yet, as we’re forecasting upwards of 4 inches of new snow for Sunday morning. Plus, early next week looks great for more natural snow. Check in with the Mountain Lift Status page as more snow paired with cold snowmaking weather means new lifts and new terrain!
