Reggae Fest Starts Now:
Join Sugarloafers for the 37th Annual Reggae Festival starting on Thursday, the 10th and running through Sunday, 4/13. Enjoy four days of music and fun-filled parties happening throughout the mountain. Please note that all night shows are 21+

Saddleback To Stay Open Until 4/20:
Last week, Saddleback posted a video to some social media channels sharing their intent to keep the mountain open through Easter weekend, which is 4/19 through 4/20. They also teased some fun Easter-inspired activities and events. Keep checking our events page and our social media channels to be notified when that announcement becomes public!

Pond-A-Palooza:
Sunday River’s Annual Pond Skim is on Saturday, April 12. Registration is free, but in order to secure a spot, head over to the Welcome Center at South Ridge Lodge between 9:00am-10:30am to sign up and get your bib number. Registration takes place on a first come, first served basis and is limited to 100 participants so get there early to sign up! For rules and information, click the link below.

Bronco Buster:
Join fellow Saddlebackers as they celebrate the comeback of the Bronco Buster Challenge on Sunday, April 13th. The goal is to take a run down Tight Line. No stopping or falling. Those who make it to the bottom will be entered to win ticket packs, Turtleboxes, items from Stio, and some other great prizes for slowest, ugliest, longest, shortest, loudest, and quietest (all left to competitor and judges’ interpretations) and best costume. Sunday River Pass Holder BBQ:
It’s Sunday River’s annual Passholder BBQ on Sunday, April 13! Join your fellow skiers and riders in South Ridge and enjoy lunch on the mountain. Just present a valid 2024/25 or 2025/26 season pass to participate! The food is being served from 11:00am to 1:00pm Learn more.

East Coast Pond Skimming Championship:
On Saturday, April 19, Sugarloaf will get splashy! Join Sugarloafers for the East Coast Pond Skim Championships. It’s one of the highlights of spring skiing & riding at Sugarloaf. Whether you are a participant or spectator, you won’t want to miss out on the fun. Learn more below.

Sugarloaf Golf Course:
The course recently started taking tee times for the 2025 season. With a target opening day of May 23, don’t miss the incredible early-season deals and savings! See the deals below.

The Great Tailgate at Sunday River:
The Great Tailgate will be on Saturday, April 19 in the Barker Parking lot. This year’s theme is Music Genres! Please note that this event is happening rain or shine so make sure to watch the weather and bring some wet-weather clothing.

Sugarloaf Pass Holder BBQ:
Calling all Sugarloaf Passholders! Celebrate the season with food on the mountain at this year’s Pass Holder BBQ. The event is on Sunday, April 20 and you need to display your season pass before entering the buffet line. Food will be served from 12:00pm to 3:00pm.

Sugarloaf Blood Drive:
On Tuesday, April 22, please consider participating in Sugarloaf’s blood drive. The American Red Cross will be at the Sugarloaf Mountain Hotel from 12pm – 5pm. To donate, please see the link below.

Sunday River Golf Course:
Sunday River Golf Course recently started taking tee times for the upcoming golf season. Explore the course and book your next gorgeous, yet challenging round below.

King of the Mountain Hill Climb:
The loudest party in the East returns on Saturday, April 26. The 4th. Annual King of the Mountain Hill Climb will sell out fast! For all the info and the event rundown, click the link below.

LVCP Duck Derby:
The LVCP Duck Derby is happening on April 26th at Lost Valley. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top 5 fastest ducks. See the schedule of events below.

Sugarloaf Marathon:
The Sugarloaf Marathon, a Boston Marathon qualifier, draws global runners to scenic Western Maine. Taking place on Sunday, May 11, and certified by USATF, it’s one of the nation’s fastest courses, with a 1,500-runner limit. Learn more below.

Last Chair:

Looking ahead, we can expect more of the same from the end of the week leading into today with cloudy skies, tomorrow with light snow showers, and Sunday with more clouds. The good thing is that the wind looks light and the temps are still good enough to have a great time! Winter isn’t over, skiing isn’t over.
