Community Work Day at BigRock:
BigRock Mountain is planning a Community Work Day on August 23. 8:00am-12:00pm and they’d love to see you there. Whether you swing a rake like a pro or just want to lend a hand and hang with your favorite mountain crew, there’s a way for everyone to pitch in. Learn more below.
BigRock Chair Sale Pickup Date This Saturday:
For those of you who have also purchased a chair from BigRock’s old Double Chair, the first pickup date is tomorrow. Swing through anytime between 8:00am to 12:00pm to grab yours. Still haven’t purchased? Don’t wait as these will sell fast! Grab one today for as low as $200 and it comes with the original grip.
Big Moose Mountain Started Trail Trimming:
Big Moose Mountain in Greenville has been very busy these last few days. Crews have been hard at work trimming the upper mountain trails. You can help donate to this great cause by using the link below.

45 North at Sugarloaf will be offering live music every Monday, all summer long. See the full schedule below.

Sugarloaf Blood Drive:
Sugarloaf is hosting their annual Blood Drive on Thursday, August 28. Please consider participating and giving blood. For those willing, stop by from 11:00am to 3:30pm at the Sugarloaf Mountain Hotel. Sign up and learn more on their website.

Summer Après Series at Sugarloaf:
Sugarloaf will once again be hosting the Summer Après Series on the Beach. The free concerts on the beach will be performed by the the following artists on the dates below.

Swig and Swing:
Registration is now open for Sugarloaf’s 7th Annual Swig and Swing event at the Sugarloaf Golf Course. Happening on Friday, October 10, don’t miss it. Sign up and learn more below.

Last Chair:
What a cool week! I’m sure the trail crews at Big Moose have appreciated the cooler weather. While it was a WILD difference from the 85+ for what felt like weeks, don’t worry as Summer will return.
Weather:
Temps are back to the upper 70’s this weekend but won’t stay like this for long. After this, next week looks very great for anything outside with temps in the low 70’s and high 60’s! Check out our Summer Activities page filled with everything you could want to do in the Maine mountains.
