Looking For A Rangeley Double Chair:

Hey Mainely Skiers! I’ve been looking for a chair from Saddleback’s Rangeley Double pretty much since they removed the lift in 2020. I would love to find one that matches the following description:

  • Intact (Nothing was destroyed)
  • Not altered in any way (looks like it could be put back on the line)
  • Safety Bar is still functional on the chair

If you or someone you know is selling a chair, please email me using the email below. Thank you so much!! – Keegan

Eaton Mountain Won’t Open This Season:

In a Facebook post made on Tuesday, November 10, the ski area shared an update on the mountain. In that update, they announced that the mountain, which is located in Skowhegan and is serviced by two handle tow lifts, won’t operate this season. They hope that they will be able to open next season.

Next summer, they are planning to launch a new website and will have updates about things going on at the hill and the possible return of snowtubing and skiing along with other activities. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for the small hill. If you can do anything to help the mountain, reach out to them through Facebook (@EatonMountain)
